Parent Volunteer Opportunities.
We want to thank you in advance for your willingness to participate and volunteer with Dominion Christian School. The administration, teachers, and staff appreciate your time and effort in making Dominion a great experience and program for our students.
Parent volunteers have a significant impact on student success.
Why volunteer?
Parent volunteers play an important role in the success of our school. When parents actively participate in their child’s school, their child benefits. The Barnabas Crew exists to help our students truly feel the love of being “spurred on toward love and good deeds.” They had out goodies in car likes, plan events, and run the coffee house on Wednesday mornings.
Social Media
(Healthy Connections)
The Social Media & Healthy Connections committee organizes assemblies, tips, signage, and activities that help studetns become aware of the pitfalls and challenges concerning social media.
DCS Family
Connections
DCS Family Connections helps new families get connected with our school community. They are the “hype crew” for many of our events such as new family orientation night, back to school night, and spirit nights.
Peer Mentor
Program
Peer Mentorship Program helps pair younger students with older peers that can give guidance, advice, and leadership. They set up events that facilitate celebrating moments.
All volunteers that have direct contact and involvement with students must have a clear background check on file with the school office. For more information or to request a background check, please contact the head of school or principal.
