Below are some common questions asked by prospective families. Contact us directly with any questions particular to your needs.
Students must pass five or more subjects to be eligible for the following semester. All students must take four or more classes to be eligible (2nd semester seniors) in Grades 9 through 12. Passing only four subjects will not allow the student to be eligible the following semester.
Eighth graders who participate on a varsity level shall meet the eligibility requirements of Georgia Independent School Association (GISA).
Eight Semester Rule
The eight (8) semester rule begins in 9th Grade. This means the student must complete eligibility within eight (8) consecutive semesters from the date of entrance into the 9th grade. Under the eight (8) semester rule, students are eligible to participate in all athletic events.
Students are allowed only one year of varsity eligibility as an 8th grade student. Students below Grade 8 are not eligible to participate in any GISA sanctioned varsity sports events.
What Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment courses does Dominion offer?

What is offered in the fine arts program?
Dominion has extensive offerings in the arts including Introduction to Art, Art Techniques, Ceramics, Photography, Digital Photography, Studio Art, Band, Choir, and Drama.
What foreign languages are offered?
Spanish I-III and dual enrollment Spanish 101 & 102 (both HS and college credit).
Does Dominion have an international program?
Dominion has a well-established international program including I-20 capability. Students from West Africa (Ivory Coast), Germany, Brazil, Japan, China, Norway, South Korea, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina have been a part of this unique program. Does Dominion have a uniform policy?
Dominion adheres to a uniform policy. Standard uniform is khaki, navy pants/shorts and a polo shirt. Uniform approved outerwear is also required for students during the school day. For detailed information, please view our dress code quick-reference sheet.
