Welcome to Dominion Christian K-5.

Start Here. Stay Here. Thrive Here. Launching Fall 2027.

In the Fall of 2027, Dominion Christian is expanding to a full K-12 experience with the launch of our brand-new elementary program.

This expansion allows us to partner with families from the very start—cultivating a love for learning and a deep-rooted biblical worldview during these critical early years. This new program provides the perfect foundation for that journey. We invite you to explore the K-5 program, where significant academic standards meet a nurturing, Christ-centered community designed to help your child grow and reach their full potential.

Dominion Christian K-5 Expansion: Frequently Asked Questions

Why is Dominion Christian launching a K-5 program at this time?

The decision to expand into elementary education is a direct response to the growing needs of our community and our current families. We have heard a consistent desire from parents who want their children to begin their educational journey at Dominion rather than waiting until middle school. By starting in Kindergarten, we can ensure that students are immersed in our academic expectations and biblical integration from their very first day of school.

Where will the K-5 classes be located on campus?

To provide the best possible experience for our youngest learners, we are constructing a brand-new, dedicated building on our current campus. This facility is being designed specifically for elementary needs, ensuring a safe, secure, and age-appropriate environment. While these students will be part of the broader Dominion family, this dedicated space allows them to learn and play in an area tailored to their developmental stage.

What curriculum will be used for the elementary grades?

While our team is developing the specific textbook selections and resources, our foundational approach is firmly set. We will utilize a traditional, rigorous curriculum with a heavy emphasis on literacy and reading skills, conceptual mathematics, and hands-on science exploration. Most importantly, every subject will be taught through the lens of a biblical worldview, ensuring that faith and learning are never separated.

Will there be after-school care options available?

Yes, we understand the needs of our working families and will offer a comprehensive After School Program (ASP) every school day until 5:30 PM. ASP will be much more than just childcare; it will include supervised outdoor play, dedicated time for homework help, and various enrichment clubs to keep students engaged and active until they are picked up.

What will the class sizes be, and who will be teaching my child?

We are committed to maintaining a smaller learning environment where every child is known. Initial class sizes will be kept to 12–15 students depending on demand, and we have set a firm cap of no more than 18 students per class. Our classrooms will be led by certified teachers who are not only qualified in elementary education but are also committed, engaged Christians. We hire educators who serve as role models for our students, reflecting the character of Jesus Christ both inside and outside the classroom.

What is the expected cost of tuition and additional fees?

While the Board of Directors will finalize the exact rates closer to the launch date, we anticipate that initial tuition will be set under $10,000 per year. In addition to tuition, families should budget for school uniforms, certain curriculum-related costs (such as consumable workbooks), and our optional lunch program. We are committed to remaining an accessible option for families seeking a high-quality private Christian education.

What will the daily schedule and school calendar look like?

Our annual calendar will align very closely with the Cobb County School District calendar to help families coordinate breaks and holidays. Regarding the daily schedule, we are currently designing a routine that balances core academic blocks with necessary brain breaks, recess, and “specials.”

How does the school handle character and spiritual development?

Spiritual growth is at the heart of the Dominion experience. Elementary students will participate in regular chapel services designed specifically for their age group, featuring engaging worship and age-appropriate teaching. Beyond chapel, spiritual growth happens through intentional discipleship and mentoring from our faculty. Biblical integration is not just a separate class; it is woven into every conversation, disciplinary moment, and academic lesson.

When can we officially apply for the Fall 2027 school year?

We will begin accepting applications for our inaugural K-5 classes in October 2026. Because we anticipate high interest and have strictly limited class sizes, we encourage families inquire now to receive reminders and priority updates as the application date approaches.
